Welcome to Buckstop Camps.  Come enjoy the beautiful Allagash Region of Northern Maine on the Saint John River.  We are located just a few miles from the gates entering the North Maine Woods.  Hunting is our main business, but we also offer lodging for family vacations, group outings and do it yourself fishing packages. 

Here at Buckstop Camps we go the extra mile to ensure that your stay with us is an enjoyable experience that you will remember for years to come.  For that reason the majority of our business comes from repeat customers.  We know that when people leave happy they are likely to come back, so that is the driving force behind all of our efforts. 

We offer guided hunts for bear (bait and hounds), and moose in Zone 1,2,3, as well as do it yourself  moose, deer and grouse hunts.  Since being in business we’ve had a very high success rate, but we do not guarantee any of our hunts.  Although we cannot guarantee that you will harvest game, we CAN guarantee that we will work hard for you and do our best, you will eat good and that you will have a memorable experience.
